Climate change and its impacts, along with rising energy prices, are key challenges that affect us all – businesses, municipalities and citizens alike. The building sector plays a central role in addressing these challenges.
Reflex takes into account the German government's climate policy requirements and develops technologies for heating and cooling systems with the aim of enabling efficient operation and reducing energy consumption.
Efficiency
Long before energy efficiency and protecting resources had become widely recognised topics, we developed the vacuum spray-tube degassing system around 25 years ago. The technology was developed to support efficient system operation and help optimise energy use. This is an approach that continues to guide our product development today.
Our product solutions are designed to support efficient system operation without compromising comfort or functionality. From Class A hot water storage tanks, through Variomat pressure maintenance, to Exdirt Twist separators, we offer a range of solutions designed to support efficient system operation. Our patented Servitec vacuum spray-tube degassing system has been part of our product portfolio for 25 years. This demonstrates that efficiency has long been an important consideration in our product development.
Another important element of efficient systems is appropriate water quality. Whether through softening or demineralisation, our portfolio of heat transfer medium optimisation products is designed to support effective heat transfer.

Responsibility
Taking responsibility for the future has long been part of our approach. For us, this means continuously developing our environmental and energy management and considering environmental and energy-related aspects in our activities.
The goal of our company is to support our customers in achieving their decarbonisation and sustainability goals. At the same time, we continuously work on developing our own environmental and energy management. Since 2024 our environmental management system has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001, and our energy management system according to DIN EN ISO 50001.
The personal commitment and forward-looking approach of our owner Heinrich Winkelmann, who took over the management of the company as the fourth generation of owners in 2010, have also shaped this development. Activities such as energy self-sufficient manufacturing and farming and solar power plants at our headquarters are examples of projects through which we explore new approaches and continue to develop our energy management. We are also preparing for future activities in the field of wind power.
